Conclusions / Lessons Learned
Here are some of the lessons that resulted from this effort:
- Painting is a challenge when accomodating nested components (Window descendants).
- All Java Virtual Machines are not created equal.
- If you really want a Mac, go buy one.
- Adding features is actually a lot of fun and not too time consuming. For example, tweaking the appearance and behavior of folder windows.
- I will make available better code as time permits. Or, send me email.
